SSU Alternative Patient Care Facility

Design Build team NMR Architects and Engineers and GMH Builders built an alternative care Facility, ACF, at Sonoma State University (SSU). Sonoma County decided to make SSU an alternate care site to combat potentially overfilled hospitals in the near future. The SSU site only provides general care, i.e. patients who don’t need medical treatment but cannot stay home or those convalescing after hospital discharge. The facility allows hospitals to treat patients who require medical care.
